### Thusinthan Kajendran

My name is Thusinthan Kajendran, born 1980, and founder of HomeIT-System. As a computer scientist and "full-time nerd," I am the main contact for all projects. Outside of IT, I spend time with my family here in the Ruhr area.

My entry into IT was in 1995, during school — first with an Amiga, later an 80486 DX2 66. On those machines I learned BASIC and later C, well before IT became my profession.

After studying computer science at the University of Dortmund, I started as an IT consultant at Chironos in the Taunus region — today part of Accenture. There I spent years working on complex IT projects for enterprise clients, mainly in architecture and consulting roles.

In 2012, I moved to an insurance company in the Münsterland region as IT architect. There I learned just how much effort custom software solutions actually require in a regulated industry — and how important pragmatic architecture decisions are.

With HomeIT-System, I built a company that offers exactly the kind of IT consulting I had been missing in large projects: direct contact, honest architecture advice, and solutions that fit the client — not the sales catalogue.

## Our Team

Our team covers system administration, software development, and UI/UX design — enough breadth to build practice IT, websites, and custom software in-house. We work transparently and with short communication paths, because we have seen ourselves how much constantly changing contacts slow down projects.
